Strawberry Ice Cream
She looks upon the pink fluffs with chunks of red fruit amongst,
And craves so hungrily, so deeply, for the cold dessert.
With a silver utensil in hand,
She shovels up the ruby treasure,
Ravenously devouring it, and letting it meld down into her throat.
One spoonful, then another,
And another,
And another.
Reminding her of lovers in the crevices of the past,
But this one is here to stay forever in harmony.
An empty bowl can always be replenished.
