Every night I look into the sky
Staring blankly, lost in my own emotions
Streams of tears flowing
As I drown in despair
Knowing that wishes and hopes
Are just faerie tales in my life
As I close my eyes
I'll fly into the world of dreams
Where love and happiness surrounds me
Caresses me like a gentle breeze
A hand reaching out to me from far away
Offering me tender loving care
That I had lost once
As I reach for the hand
Reality slaps me hard in the face
trying tu pull me back
Now I am trapped in between 2 worlds
Not knowing the way out
Guilt creeping inside me
Having to make a choice
Stay in my dreams or back to reality
Deep in my heart
I know that I choose to stay
And take a risk in the world of dreams
To make my faerie tale come true
If only it ever does exist......
