His father, Abner Cemp Curb was in the AL "Home Guards" and saw limited action. Another G-Grandfather, Daniel Christenberry was in another AL Inf Regiment (17th?) that served in the AOT. Like to follow Wilcox and the other two Alabama Brigades in the Army of Northern Virginia. It is a great reference point for enjoying everything else along the way. My direct ancestors (father & mother's father's father's father's etc.) were in Law's Brig de. One started in Jackson's old division before the reorganization in the winter. The one in the same division as yours, from the Seven Days through Fredricksburg, was in Wright's Brigade. I also think the Rodes-Oneal brigade was just as interesting.

Joseph A. Stokely enlisted on June 11, 1862 in Company E, 11th Alabama Regiment for the war. He was wounded on June 30, 162 during the Seven Days Battle; died at Chimborazo Hospital on August 8, 1862 of diphteria. He had five brothers who served in Co. G, 32nd Alabama Infantry. Only two of those five survived the war. I like your web site.
