 - 13 JULY  Committee Meeting Meeting Place:-  YTC building at 6.30 pm

 - 16 JULY  Bar-B-Q at Golden Bay: The group will provide the charcoal and set. Kindly provide for your own food, cutlery etc. If you are coming kindly contact Mr.Joe CiliaMeeting Place:-  Apples’ Eye Restaurant at 7.40 pm or later on the beach

 - 31 JULY  Abseiling at Ix-Xaqqa will be followed by a picnic in the area. Meeting Place:-  Siggiewi Church at 5.00 pm
 

Publication

The group is planning to publish its own journal in the near future. If you wish to contribute any articles or photographs of significant archaeological interest you are kindly requested to contact Mr. Joe Cilia on the address or telephone shown above.
 

Forthcoming Events

A visit to San Pawl Milqi and the Roman Domus (?27/09/99) together with a lecture on underwater wrecks are being prepared for next Autumn. Keep in touch!

Tal-Mentna Catacombs

The Mqabba local council together with the Museum authorities are opening the Tal-Mentna catacombs at Pjazza Gublew tad-Djamanti once again. The catacombs will be open from 9.00am to noon, on the 27 th June, 25 th July and 29 th August. Those visiting the site are advised to take their own torches with them

Nature Trust is organising, weather permitting ,a number of boat trips around the Maltese Islands for the summer months. All those interested are kindly requested to contact Mr. Orland Bonavia on 339142. Book early to avoid disappointment!!
