No Bugs in the Works: State Forum Going Strong at Officers' Spring Planning Meeting
By: Amanda Wagner Leesburg High School
On the weekend of March 31 st to April 1 st, the F JCL officers and sponsor Ms. Girardeau held the Spring Planning meeting in Leesburg. After battling hours unidentified streets, traffic, and daunting clerks at various jiffy stores, the meeting commenced.
The living room was turned into a menagerie of assorted papers, videos, and tee shirts as we registered and judged. We taxed our brains searching for the perfect skit in "That's Entertainment". The proceedings handled by the officers have been rehashed and reinforced and we are ready to go! All in all, State Forum is going as planned and promises to be yet another outstanding conference.
Pertaining to events scheduled in the forum, don't forget that "That's Entertainment" tryouts will be held on Friday after opening assembly. Also, a piano is not available for our use during "That's Entertainment." If you need accompaniment, please bring a pre-recorded tape.
Once again, the officers have a great Forum planned and look forward to seeing everyone in Orlando on April 28-30.

New FJCL Officer!
My name is Brie Allaman and I am a senior at FSUS. Besides Latin Club, I also run crosscountry and sing. Considering what a great job Franco did last year, I hope to do just as well as your new Parliamentarian. I've been in Latin since the eighth grade and am a Latin six this year. I love JCL and attending Fora, especially State and Nationals, and look forward to serving as an officer this Spring. My goals are to make sure that all meetings and assemblies are organized and well run, and to do everything in my power to make Forum an enjoyable and entertaining experience for all who attend. I look forward to meeting everyone at State.
Tua,
Brie Allaman,
'99-'00 Parliamentarian
