Tapestry Meadow

Embroidered On A Tapestry Meadow
Gently Placed below the Stars
The Night grows Old
The Wind is blowing lonely
My Love wakes and I wake with my Love.

"O my Love,
Tell me why you are so lonely?
All alone, and so restless of heart?
Only the Wind is passing between us-
Speak your mind, please don't set us apart."

"Gentle One,
The Night overwhelms my head
And all the Deeds I've done, have turned to Dreams instead
Yet you lie there and ask why I have left this Meadow Bed;
Tell me, now- Have you heard a word I've said?"

Now my Love is smiling at me
Smiling down, he's smiling down at me
In the soft grasses of the Meadow
We are flying, we are flying

Embroidered on a Tapestry Meadow
Gold and Silver Threads, we shine in the rising Dawn
Here and sometimes There
Flashing out their Cycle
Fireflies confuse themselves with Stars.
