Time for reluctance
We used and worked you,
yet when evening sounded,
you loved me for it anyhow.
I could not give you what you didn’t want,
so you were happy without it,
weaving in and out a loving pattern.
Simple and yet so true,
I have used you.
Time will tell
Teach like the wind can slice
full and dry
or liquid lacey glass.
Fill like the milk sloshes
quickly down
or warm and comforting.
Walk like the grass blows,
tall and calm
or furious waving forceful blades.
Reveal all like the sun can do,
quietly showing
or brightly and cheerfully pushing.
Hold me like a warm blanket,
soft and caressing
or covering my cuts and scars easily.
Know me as I do my own self,
realizing destiny
or just living for the days to come.
Time for all
We used you and worked you,
yet when evening sounded,
you loved me for it anyhow.
Teach like the wind can slice
full and dry
or liquid lacey glass.
I see if day cracks anew
through sister, my pen
slender, she wants him not.
