Enter Temple

----> The group enters the nearest square archway, torches aloft. The interior of this tier of Baragon Temple is very similar to the outside; the walls and floor are overgrown with vegetation, the stonework is cracked in every crevice, and the only thing moving about are the macaques.
----> Four staircases leave this tier downward into what Yohon describes as the "main chamber". Grant moves about the perimeter of the inner chamber, shadowing Yohon's own investigation.
----> Cyrdan and Meggana stand-by, weapons at the ready. Meggana has her bow strung and pulled taut, while Cyrdan's longsword is drawn back to his hip with two hands.
----> Siggy sits silently on Tharg's shoulder as the big man enters a dark archway leading into the inner chamber of this tier. The illumination clears the doorway, casting light about the smaller room and revealing two more staircases. These, however, lead upwards and are open-railed as opposed to the downward stairwells. There are several discarded crates stacked against the northern wall. A pile of leaves has gathered about them. An enormous bowl-shaped chandelier hangs from the stone ceiling, black and motionless. There are brackets of iron on each wall, assumably for holding torches though they are empty. Most of the vegetation ends at the room's beginning; there is no sunlight penetrating here.
----> The group gathers in the inner chamber where Tilwic has taken several steps up one of the stairways leading upwards. His torch flickers from an obvious breeze coming from the hole in the ceiling the stairs lead to. The side of the stairs has been carved into an odd, intertwining pattern. Though weathered and faded, it is apparent that much work was put into the intricate design. Alasdair begins ascending the other stairs.
----> "We should clear the upper tiers first," he suggests, peering up the stone stairwell and into the darkness of shadow.
----> Yohon agrees. "We must clear it to ensure nothing will hit our backside."
----> Grant has moved a few paces himself, down one of the stairwells to the main chamber. "I think I hear something," he calls. Meggana relays the discovery, as she is closer to the main gathering.
----> Tharg readied his crude club while Siggy seems entirely content picking the bugs from the barbarian's locks.
----> Cyrdan asks about the nature of the sound.
----> "Sounds like water dripping," Grant replies, cocking his head into the dark corridor to hear better.
