Urthania

Tier 3

----> The split groups emerge on opposite sides of the same chamber, one tier higher into the temple.
----> The third tier of Baragona Temple is much smaller than previous chambers the party has entered. The first thing noticed by the group is a powerfully pungent ammonia-like stench. The smell makes Tharg and his macaque rider hold their noses and blanch. The stone floor has many gaps in its seams. Dirt and rubble litter the floor around the base of all four walls. Cobwebs have collected in the corners despite the slight breeze that blows throughout the tier.
----> A huge, straight stairway, carved in the same odd pattern as the stairs the group just ascended. Though old and slightly musty, the wooden paneling running up this stairway is nothing short of beautiful. The steps leading upwards toward the sunlight are of a different colored stone than the rest of the flooring they have seen thus far.
----> Six statues sit silently staring out into the room. They are identical and seem to be made from some kind of ruddy-colored clay. The enormous heads make up 95% of the entire statue, dwarfing the tiny naked bodies. Over-exaggerated features make the thing look very tribal. Emptied eye sockets are flat bottomed, suggesting they once served as shelves. The four statues lining the room, one in each corner, face each other north to south. Two additional statues seem to guard the upward stairs.
----> Cyrdan immediately begins drafting pictures in his leather-bound stack of parchment.
