Which Way to Go?
----> "We go town or see crazy man with doggy," Conner says, his tone of voice changing with excitement. "Me like doggy. Miss my doggy."
----> "We should proceed directly to my village," Aegeon argues. "I'm sure the Hai-Shalyk will supply us and reinforce our team with more warriors."
----> "We find more weapons in town," the blonde man rebuts. "We go there." Conner begins searching the brush for trails or tracks.
----> Alliandra is uneasy. "We cannot go to Deepbush, Conner. They'll arrest us for certain," she tries to explain.
----> "Me keep you safe. Conner strong!" he replies.
----> Aegeon shakes his head in disbelief. "It is imperative that we return before the others are too far into the temple for us to make a difference," he pleads. "We must go to see the Hai-Shalyk first."
----> "We get more knives and go back to help friends," Conner hollers from the bushes, where he is still rustling through the bushes. He emits a triumphant "Hey!" and then stands up from where he was squatting in the greenery. "Town that way," he instructs them. The barbarian starts marching off in a northwesterly direction.
----> "Three of us are no match for what is down there," Aegeon adds.
----> After a few more moments of debate, Alliandra concedes that going to the marryk village first would be optimal. She turns to try and persuade Conner to agree, but the big man has already disappeared into the jungle. His name is called several times, but he is nowhere to be found.
----> A brief search is conducted, but eventually abandoned. Aegeon reiterates the urgency of this landing's purpose. Alliandra begrudgingly leaves Conner to fend for himself.
