CAPUCHIN
The Capuchin Monkey comes from
the southern part of the Amazon Rainforest in South America. The Capuchin
Monkey has black hands and feet and the body come in a variety of tans
and browns. Their diet consists of insects, fruits and seeds.
They search for their food high in the trees of the rainforest.
The predator of the Capuchin Monkey is the harpy eagle. The
Capuchin Monkey is agile in its movements. It uses it’s tail
to move from limb to limb high above the jungle floor. The
average weight of the Capuchin Monkey is six pounds. Its hands
are large enough to grasp a tin can.
