Arnold Jones, 65, Merthyr Tydfil Ward, Merthyr Tydfil Wales Stake; called as president of the Preston England Temple, succeeding President John Maxwell. President Jones' wife, June Francis Jones, will serve as temple matron.
President Jones, a counselor in the London England Temple presidency, has served as a stake president, stake mission president, district president, branch president and missionary in the British Building Mission. He is a retired training consultant. He was born in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, to Frederick and Florence Ellen Pulman Jones.
Sister Jones is an assistant to the matron in the London England Temple and a former stake and ward Relief Society president, stake and ward Young Women president and seminary teacher. She was born in Merthyr Tydfil, to William Thomas and Gwladys May Jones Francis.
