Inside your Heart

Inside that heart of yours
your love runs deep for me
but you made one to many mistakes
that I can't really forgive

If you would have said you were sorry
maybe I would have accepted you then
but you let it linger for too long
and my trust in you came to an end

Although, I still love you
I have to do what is right for me
and getting hurt by you over and over again
is not what love should be

you have even told me to leave you
that you don't even know why
you keep treating me wrong
and I can't stay around anymore
because I have taken it too long

you put conditions on our love
like if this was a passing fling
this was suppose to be real love
did you forget that little thing?

If you really love me
let you heart guide you back
but if you don't love me don't make it worse
by pretending to feel a love you lack
