Pegasus, oh Pegasus, you will always be a source of inspiration to writers everywhere.

It is said that the Muses held a song contest.  This music was so beautiful it charmed the streams and made Mount Helicon grow!  Pegasus was told by the god Poseidon to strike it with her hoove so it would stop growing.  When Pegasus struck it created the fountain Hippocrene.   Hippocrene is a source of inspiration as well as Aganippe and Pirene which Pegasus created.

When the night seems darkest and when the night is deepest may Pegasus find you and bring you inspiration and light in the darkness.

When you call to Pegasus may she be there and wrap her wing around you so that you might feel warm and protected by this fantastical touching creature.
