- SCORE: Schools of California On-Line Resources for Education links to sites that support state mandated curriculum, including mathematics, science, history/social science, and language arts. SCORE includes links to lots of wonderful educational sites directly related to curriculum for California Schools, as well as teacher lesson plans. An excellent site sponsored by the California Technology Assistance Project, the Education Council for Technology in Learning and the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association.
- Educational Hotlists sponsored by the Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They have links for all types of science, as well as countries, art, literature, music, writing & composition, American History, schools on the web, education, mathematics, reference, and black history. An incredible resource.
- BJ Pinchbeck's Educational Links! INCREDIBLE!!
This site rocks! The best place for homework help ever. If it isn't here..it isn't anywhere! Eleven year old BJ and his dad use the Internet to help with homework and to research information on the Net. They have selected more than 500 terrific sites that can help you find any information that you need. Don't miss this one.
- Education World for Teachers: Unique Links by Curriculum Areas. Sponsored by American Fidelity Educational Services, in partnership with the National Education Association and the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America. These special links are not the standard history, science, math links. Worth a look.
- Blue Web'n Content Catagories - Blue Web'n is a searchable database sponsored by Pacific Bell Knowledge Network. They put together a list of outstanding Internet learning sites categorized by subject area, audience, and type (lessons, activities, projects,
resources, references, & tools). Blue Web'n does not attempt to catalog all educational sites, but only the most useful sites -- especially online activities targeted at learners. They provide a hot site of the week.
- Homework Central gets the information down to the seven to 10 areas that provide the richest content. Each single link has been screened by an educator.

- CUE's California Web Projects - Global SchoolNet Foundation (GSN), sponsored by California Computer Using Educators (CUE). The California Web Project uses the resources of the Internet to unleash the creative efforts of California students as they create a home page containing their own original research and information. You can search their database by topic and grade level to visit projects done by other schools or sign up to create and publish your own internet reserach projects.

- SCORE's Award Winning CyberGuides to Literature for grades 6 to 8 and
grades 4 to 6. CyberGuides are supplementary, web-based units of instruction centered on core works of literature. They are designed for the classroom with one online computer. Each CyberGuide contains a student and teacher edition, objectives,a task and a process by which it may be completed, teacher-selected web sites and a rubric. CyberGuides aligned with California's Academic Content Standards as indicated in the Teacher Guides. There are 30+ titles, including many Newbery award winners.
- Webster's Word of the Day by Merriam Webster. Each word has a definition, example sentence and the history of the word. It is fun and interesting. Links to other neat word stuff.
- Guide to Grammar and Writing developed by Professor Charles Darling and Capital Community-Technical College. A very complete overview of grammar, with help at the sentence, paragraph, and essay level.
