Dear Third Graders,
Well, should I say new third graders? I know that you'll have fun in third grade because you'll get to make an owner stick. You'll also learn times tables and a little division. I know you'll really have fun in book clubs. Also you're going to Knott's Berry Farm for a field trip. You can also make books. It will be fun making totem poles. Also you're going to learn cursive writing. Your're going to go to J.P.L. and the Imax Theaters to watch a movie. Well, I hope you have fun in third grade, just like I did. Your friend, Jackie
Dear Third Graders,
I hope you guys have the best time ever in third grade. You guys are going to make a lot of stuff like apple stories, what you did on summer vacation, make fake leaves with tissue paper, and if you have Mrs. Szpila as a teacher she will bring in a tipi, because you guys will learn about Indians. Third grade is going to be real fun. I hope you have a fun time in third grade. Sincerely, Rebecca T.
Dear Third Grader,
I want to let you know that in the very beginning of third grade it is just like second grade. After a little while it will be fun. You will get to make ginger bread houses. You will have a lot of book reports to do and you have book clubs to do. You also have field trips to go to. The first you will go to is the Wild Life Way Station, then we go to Knott's Berry Farm. Your friend, Billie Jean
Dear Third Graders,
This year we have been doing lots of math, social studies, reading, spelling, writing, homework, and field trips. You can be a monitor. This was the best year of my life. Your friend, Zachery
Dear Third Graders,
Third grade is very fun, but hard! You get to go on field trips like plays, Knotts Berry Farm and more. Math will be your worst nightmare!! You have math homework, math assignments, even math baseball! We have silent reading and you get to bring a Beanie Baby. We have centers and you get to go to math, art, Mrs. Szpila's group, writers workshop, listening post or computer!! Before I go, here is some advice to get a 1 or good grade, you need to write neatly, don't forget your name and do your work the best you can (get everything right). From Sabrina
Dear Third Graders,
In third grade you will have to write in cursive. You will learn multiplication and how to write full sentence answers. We went on a couple of field trips to Knott's, the Imax Theater, The Alex Theater, Wildlife Waystation, and J.P.L. We did a long animal report. Third grade was different than second! Sincerely, Michael B.
Dear Third Graders,
In third grade you learn new things. You learn how to do multiplication. We have two computers. At the end of the year you write in curvsive. You learn about Indians. You will play fun computer games. You will like third grade. The parties you have are fun. We went to the Imax, Knott's, Alex Theater, J.P.L., and the Wildlife Waystation. That is all about third grade. Sincerely, Eric
Dear Third Graders,
In 3rd grade you have to learn how to do cursive. You also have to do multiplication. Next is the thing I hate. It is socail studies and your answers have to be full sentences. In social studies you have to take a lot of tests. We have book clubs. We went on a couple of field trips like Knott's Berry Farm, Alex Theater, Imax Theater, Wildlife Waystation, and J. P. L. Third Grade is fun. Sincerely, Elias
Dear Third Grader,
Third grade is fun. We go on a lot of fun field trips. In our social studies we study about Indians. you can be a monitor. We learn multiplication and handwriting. This is my advice, don't loose papers! That's all the advice. Your friend, Alex
Dear Third Graders,
To get a one you have to remember to put your name, write complete sentences, and correct spelling. Sincerely, Winston
Dear Third Graders,
Are you ready to be in third grade? I hope so. I bet you'll love third grade. You'll learn a lot of stuff like cool multiplication, reading, writing, awesome social studies, and cool cursive. You also get to go on field trips, do book clubs, centers. The best thing is you get tutors!!!! You do silent reading, too. To get a one you have to be sure you put your name on every paper. If you do something good you earn money. When you learn about Indians you can earn feathers. Have fun!! Sincerely, Holly
