Sometimes I feel like I’m halfway between womanhood and childhood
Today I feel like an adult
Let’s get a job and act all business-like
Another day I’m a kid
hanging out with my friends at an amusement park
I’m torn between desires
wanting to grow up
needing the child-like innocence
tossing the dice for my mood
which will win today
the adult or the little girl?
I hope I never have to choose
