I be damned. Madeleine Albright has put some cold water on the upcoming trip of president Bill Clinton to India and Bangladesh. After president Jimmy Carter visited India during Morarji Desai's short stint private conversation among the US delegation was picked up as the microphones were alive. The American delegation said something derogatory about India and the press picked up the theme, as if it was any different than the usual and customary anti USA theme. Morarji Desai, being a moral man slapped the press as he felt that such private conversation cannot be snooped and used against the official guest of the country.

Those good old days have gone the way of the condor. The latest snooping technology gadgets and gizmos have been part of Indian technical wizardry. The anti-Americanism pays in India. Though the saffron goons are being quiet, as far as their anti-American rhetoric is concerned due to the mistaken reports circulated earlier by the same group that US sees it fit to treat India as a new nuclear power and willing to give India a helping hand.

That mirror, mirage, whatever has been smashed by Madame Secretary Madeleine Albright. Nothing comes out of such head of the state symbolic visits as both countries are very much aware of their moves and none wants to display an eager beaver attitude to actually solve any immediate disputes with lots of ceremonial dinners and dances thrown in to make it TV camera worthy.

Suffice it to say that a presidential visit by its nature gets lots of press. Most probably all the major news organizations and TV channels are going to accompany the presidential junket and report whatever they feel could play well back home. I hope that bunch of Hindu hooligans would not plan their French Fry revolution, Rathayatra, Ratyatra, karseva and other gobbledygook protests to coincide with presidential trip, as they managed during Pope John Paul, II's recent visit.

The wrong message can be sent without such shenanigans but it is better that state diplomatic maneuver be handled by the experts and not by street thugs. Pakistan has already made it clear that exclusion is not a good diplomacy. Pakistan and USA were friendly to each other for very long time and there are more USA experts in Pakistan that in India. Pressure can be brought to alter this course and General Parvez Musharraf is not too shy about using every single of them.

The world problems are always become small in comparison if and when country heads sit together and talk. Talking does not mean agreeing. Talks at least have a power of resolving minor problems immediately. The major problems get straightened due to one to one discussions. The expectation of miracles is always a welcome but no one denies that India and USA are not even on the same wave length.

If they try hard and compromise on some of the outstanding issues such as Nuclear non proliferation and Kashmir half the battle is won. Atal Behari Vajpayee should take this opportunity and get that silly Kashmir problem out of his way as he has better things to do than evoke the Kashmir spirit every time he sees a looming danger on the horizon.

The RSS terrorists have stepped up their anti-Muslim campaign from their comfortable American mansions. United States of America and Canada do not need such outside filthy feces fascists taking advantage of the American constitution. Varanasi hooliganism was as a direct result of denying the Delhi directive to make Deepa Mehta movie making to proceed as sanctioned by the highest authority f the land. If these rascals deny that they are not political why are they putting screws on the government of India?

All high level BJP ministers, including the prime minister are card carrying RSS operatives. Who is denying that open secret? I say this is getting out of hand. The fake democracy must be reneged and a totalitarian rule be instituted which at least could resolve these identity crises.
