I am unaware of your effort to trace Mr. Sekhar Pradhan and others probably due to the fact that I am a relative newcomer to this NG (since August 1999). I can assure you that any effort by you or any other reader of this NG to rid this NG of people who impersonate and willfully misrepresent themselves, is highly appreciated.

Most people use pseudo names to express their opinions and retain their privacy (even I am "guilty" of that practice). The problem is when some dubious soul use their anonymity to misrepresent themselves. This guy Siddiki, he claims he has "PHD" (Ph. D.) from Yale University CT, USA and Univ. of Iowa, and he was sermonizing ..pretending to be an eminent Historian/Anthropologist! A couple of calls to Yale and U of IA, exposed this jackass! Then he started this tirade against Bengali refugees from East Pakistan under all these various pseudo names. Not only that..in the process he continues to threaten as well! This creep!!! Ugh........... sorry.... has to be exposed!

I sincerely apologize for this diversion, but honestly, I don't know what better to do!

On a personal note, I do not participate in this forum to gain spiritual fulfillment, neither am I a proponent of any religion. I was born in a Hindu family, but I do not practice any religion. I consider myself to be an agnostic. I refrain from participating in discussion related to religious issues mainly due to the fact that I consider religion as man's creation, and it divides people and encourages hate. However, I do respect the rights of people to practice their religions, at the same time believe that religion is spiritual matter and should be practiced in private.

Obviously, I have failed in expressing my views on religion because still I see people identifying me as a Bangladeshi Moslem!
