"I stood still for a second, but then I felt something pulling me toward the painting. Without even looking down I picked up the umbrella. The painting was closer and closer...

...and then I was standing in a park. The sun was hot, and the sky was a beautiful blue. There were many white clouds in the sky. The woman I had seen in the museum was standing near her, too. She was speaking in English to the little girl. I couldn't understand what they were saying, but she could see that the little girl looked worrried and afraid. Suddenly the woman turned around and spoke very clearly in words   I could understand...

"Something terrible has happened," she said, "you must come help us! You must come to where we are, in England, or there will be no one who can help us. You must come! You must come!"

Suddenly a strange man was standing beside me. He was very tall, and he had long black hair. He looked very angry "You shouldn't go to England!" he said. "If you do, you'll find nothing but trouble!"

"I was very afraid. I began to run. I was so afraid that I couldn't think; I just kept running and running. Finally I fell down in the grass and closed my eyes...

and then I was in my own room at home, in my bed, in the dark. I cried quietly, then went back to sleep.

In the morning when I woke up, there was grass in my hair."

The next morning Trevor told Melody about his mother's dream. Trevor and Melody were both worried and a little afraid. They talked for many hours, discussing whether they should go to England, or stay at home in Taiwan...

          Stay in Taiwan
