Schutzhund - IPO
With
this second part of the seminars, The Hellenic Dobermann Club obtained
4 official helpers:
Balakas Vassilis
Dimitriou Andreas
Muller John
Volotas Tony
Two of them (Balakas
& Dimitriou) went in Italy two months later and became also official
helpers in the Belgian Shepherd Club of Italy.
Seminars
with Mr. Roberto Donnini had a great success in Greece and our club decided
to repeat them at least twice every year.
Dobermanns are athletic
dogs, you can always see it, especially during working trials where you
will always see some spectacular action.
Mr. Donnini worked hardly
and helped our dogs to manifest the best of their character.
Perfect
helper's movement absorbs the shock during the impact and doesn't create
conflicts between the dog and the helper.
The bite of the dog
must not reflect an aggression to the helper. The bite is only a possession
that the dog feels for the sack (sleeve).
Always remember: Schutzhund
is only a dog sport and nothing more. At the end of the attacks, helper
plays with dogs.
