Some Pictures of the Springer Ancestors

Here are some pictures of the "older generations" of Springers. Excuse the picture quality, but they are old.

This picture was taken about 1911. Sitting on the porch is Ron Sr's Grandfather. Sitting on the steps is Raymond Springer (the boy sitting on the left with the dark hair), and Robert Springer (Ron Sr's father)(the boy with the blond hair) at about age 13. Picture taken in Freeport, Illinois.

Robert and Verna (Ron Sr's mother) Springer near their apartment in Chicago, along with their dog Mitzi. Verna was pregnant with Ron Sr., and the picture was taken in April, 1941, about two months before he was born.

Robert and Ron Sr. at Jackson Park in Chicago (while it was still safe to go there). Since this picture was taken in May of 1944, it was just shy of Ron Sr's third birthday.
