Wat Buddhavas of Houston the Thai Temple, was incorporated in the State of Texas in 1983. Currently, the temple has 6 resident monks serving the Buddhist community. Wat Buddhavas has become well known conducting its activities at its current location in Houston while serving the spiritual needs of the Thai and Laos communities and providing religious guidance to native Americans and members of other nationalities. This site is to distribute the temple's activities and the Theravada Buddhism to the public.
