YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT
I do not see any good reason why the devil should have all the good tunes.
Pick One:
Strung Out
This group is my favorite out of every punk band i have ever heard. They are insanely fast,
have great vocals, and they write about stuff that i can relate to. All of their songs are
anger fueled, speed drumming punk. They have several albums out, but the only one I
have heard is Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues. I suggest that you get this CD over any
others, or at least give it a listen. I'm sure you'll like what you hear.

Squirtgun
Squirtgun is nothing but silly happy punk rock. Their best song is on the Mallrats (check
out my movie page) soundtrack, entitled, Social. Their songs have an incredible bass line,
and you can't help but dance to their music. They have a self titled release, some ep's, and
another full length album called Another Sunny Afternoon. Check them out sometime, it'll
make you happy.

Blanks '77
Blanks '77 is exactly what the name says, classic '77 punk rock. If you love that british
punk accent and the underground sound of early punk, then you really need to give these
guys a listen. If you've only heard the newer punk and have wanted to get into the early
stuff, then Blanks '77 is a great group to start out on. I have the album Killer Blanks, but
I'm sure there are others.
Radical Records
Mustard Plug
This ska group is one of my personal favorites. Their music is more of the hard-core ska,
but some songs a more of the Regge style. Mustard Plug plays happy music that the whole
family can enjoy. I think they have a couple of albums, but the only one I have is Evil
Doers Beware. Find them if you can.

We Want The MUSTARD!!!
Reel Big Fish
This band is getting kinda popular despite their apparent hatred of all things trendy. They play
some excelent music that is almost all punk-ska. The words to their songs are many times
painfully real, but can also be very funny. My only complaint is that the topics of the songs
sometimes gets a little redundant. Listen to them anyway.
Reel Big Fish: The Kings of Ska
Mephaskapheles
I love this band. They are probebly the first and only satanic ska band, but there are really
only two songs on their cd that are about satanism. The rest of their music is classic ska.
There songs are upbeat and generally happy. Play their cd God Bless Satan for your
nice christian friends and watch them mess their pants.

My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult
I you haven't seen The Crow (the first and only good one) then you need to get off the net
and watch it now. Otherwise, you know this group from their appearence in the final club
scene doing the song After the Flesh. Their work is dark, agressive, and it has all of the
hard-core style Industrial that I love. If you ever see the cd A Crime For All Seasons in
your local record store, BUY IT!!

Lords of Acid
Every single song that Lords of Acid writes is about one topic: SEX! They have a nice mix of hard-core and light techno in their songs, but its
the words and the mixing that really grab you where it counts. Their lead singer is a girl,
and this makes all the songs just that more sickening. There is nothing sexual that you can
think about that the Lords haven't put in one of their songs. Most of their work comes out
in mix cd's (one song with about four or five remixes of it), but they have two full length
cd's out. Our Little Secret is the better of the two, but Lust is good to. Let me warn you, if you are easily
offended, don't even think about listening to Lords.
