Letters to the Editor
(Editor's note. We have gotten some pleasantly interesting responses to the initial newsletter as well as the Nexus and Nemeton Gwynvyd websites. Hope you find them as kind as I do! ANNA)
As a dedicated Christian, we acknowledge and accept the right to beliefs of all peoples. Your information is very interestingand I'd like to know and hear more.
I am being honest when I say that I am a dedicated Christian. In the area where I live, I'm active in what Americans call the Episcopal church. I'm a licenced lay minister (not clergy) and serve on many committees and work with some groups such as youth groups. A couple of weeks ago I attended a ceremony to initiate a new bishop. The affair was by invitation only and there were some 1200 people at it.
I believe whatever we can do to further the cause of humanity, it is our duty. I honestly believe that no matter what our religious beliefs, the Central Figure, is the same. We only use a different terminology to describe that Figure ....
I won't quote all the forgoing but just say thanks for all the information that you have sent. If there were more people like you in this world, we could do away with our military forces and possibly even the police forces. All we'd have to do is follow the Golden Rule or the Two Great Commandments of Jesus Christ.

WALKING THE CHRISTIAN/DRUID LINE
Greetings. I'm currently Chief of the Liturgists' Guild for ADF, but have also joined the OBOD study program and find OBOD more accepting of interfaith connections than ADF is, so I'm not sure at the moment just where my future affiliations lie.
I am an actively employed Anglican (Episcopal) priest in an inner city area, and I find the living out of that calling to be very much the life of a Druid in the modern world. I find Christianity and Druidry to be securely united by the former's doctrine of Incarnation and the latter's veneration of the created order. But many of my Pagan and Christian friends and colleagues fear, misunderstand, distrust, and hate one another, and so the path between the two worlds (which are in fact one world) is a very hard one to walk. How did I come to it? I don't know. I have always been there. Is there some other place to be?
(By the way, did you know the *Angelus*, the ancient Christian devotional prayer about the Incarnation) is accompanied by the ringing of three sets of three, and then nine on the bells?)
Peace,
OakWyse
"GONNA HAVE TO FACE IT, YOU'RE ADDICTED TO TRUTH ..."
. . .I truly enjoyed Ann Hawk's piece on truth at your newsletter page -- please pass along my compliments and thanks, as the piece was one of those things I "needed" to read. (teachers, teachers, everywhere). . . .
And finally, do wish me luck. I finally start the new job in computer tech support tomorrow! (thank goddess they start with 2 weeks of training -- I've only been on the 'net since November).
Warm blessings,
AND THEN THERE'S WIX . . . . . . . .
JOURNEY
To all,
I am going on a journey of reevaluation and learning. I am going to do some things that have needed to be done for some time. I have been a bother to everyone. I am going to "walk a few miles" and see where I stand. I want to continue my quest for finding peace, and I am lacking a few elements at this time. Since I have been a hassle to everyone, I am going to leave the scene for a while and contemplate all that was said and done. I want to think on things and see what has ocurred.
Good-bye for now.

AND MORE WIX SENTIMENTS
As I have looked and watched
The lands change and people die,
I remain the same.
I have walked for many years
and seen many things.
I am what you fear and desire.
I am that which you crave
but can not have.
I am you.
I am a reflection of all things.
I am your mirror.
It gives us something to giggle about ..................................................
