Liquid emotions flow throughout me
Every nerve alive with neurotic pulse
Streaming with life so indomitable in nature
Can you feel me?
High wire I'm balancing well
Should I slip and fall with you
Should I stay on the platform
Be on the safe side
Incense burns the scent of cinnamon
In an otherwise dark room
We draw closer as the music plays
Shall we dance? Or just dance away?
I feel the caress of a warm November breeze
Chills from the inside out
Memories of laughter ringing in my ears
Sweet nothings of the soul no doubt
Can you touch me?
Embracing the thought of you
Holding it with a vigorous grip
Shall I let go?
Or hang on for the duration of the trip
You wont be back, you wont return
Where you've gone you dont need me
I'll just sit and listen to the music;
smell the scents
Remember the person I used to see
Have I touched you?
