Sano: (as he hears footsteps) Ummm?
(the door flies open)
Okon, Kuro and Shiro: Misao! Ah? Kenshin? What a coincidence!
Kenshin: Oro?
Okon: Everyone, follow me quick!
Misao: What's the matter?
Kenshin: Oro?
Misao: Just what in the world is this?
(they leave Sano staring kawaiily at them)
Voice: I'm sorry but, I'm a police. Is there anyone at home?
Sano: !
Misao: Hey hey hey! What in the world is the matter!
Kaoru: ...
Okon: Okina!
Misao: What 'Okina'?
Yahiko: Hey hey hey!
Okon: Okina he... he's regained consciousness!
Okina: ...
(he ties a ribbon on his beard)
Okina: Look at your worried faces! Sorry, all.
Yahiko: He looks like an Egyptian mummy!
Kaoru: Cut the crap!
Okina: Himura! Can you promise me something?
Kenshin: - ...
Okina: Okon.
Okon: Yes.
Okina: Really sorry, but could you please support me?
(he walks towards the garden)
Okina: How much about this Aoshi matter do you know, Himura?

(everybody looks shocked)
Okina: I understand very much that towards your vow to abstain from killing,
this is one request which very much breaks it. But in this entire world,
only you can finish him off. Only you, can defeat, the Aoshi who has removed
his flesh and turned into a unrepentant demon.
(Misao stares in extreme shock)
Okina: (voice over) While for a demon like him, there is no resting place
but 'death'. Only by killing him, can we have given a great service to
mankind...

Flash back during the battle of Okina and Aoshi
Aoshi: Never appear in front of me again.
End flashback
Misao: (holding her heart) *Why is my heart still beating so furiously...
my legs immobile... Hadn't I already decided... wasn't there no problems at
all...*
(she stares at Kenshin in fluster)
Misao: *Are you... going to kill Aoshi? Himura? You really want... to kill
him? Himura...*
(Kenshin smiles)
(everyone else stares)
Kenshin: Oh Okina! Your bodily wounds...
(flashback again to battle of Okina and Aoshi)
Kenshin: ...must've been hit by either the Kaitenkenbu or something even
more lethal! But in my opinion, if Aoshi had really transformed into a
demon, and unrelentantly injured you, it wouldn't be of any surprise to see
you lying in the coffin now would it... ?
(Aoshi leaning on a pillar)
Kenshin: (voice over) Aoshi... is not yet an unrepentant demon transformed!
To have slackened his hands in a short time of attack subconsciously, maybe
he himself doesn't realize this too! But the fact is, this without a doubt
authenticizes his inability to transform into another person yet.
(he stares)
Kenshin: So what if he does remove his fleshly ideals, I will still believe
in the heart of human he has. His resting place is not 'death', but here.
I give my word, that I will, I must, bring Aoshi back here.
Misao: *Himura - *
Okina: Himura...
Okon: Misao?
Kenshin: Misao-dono!
Yahiko: Misao!
Kaoru: Misao!
Omasu: Misao!
Okina: Misao...
(she is crying)
Misao: What... ? I? I? Strange... I... ?
(a hand rests on her shoulder)
Kaoru: This is great, Misao.
(she hugs Misao)
Misao: Yes...
(everybody smiles)
Okina: ... *Almost ruined Misao's happiness there... when the old soldier
does not die, he retires - * Himura.
(Kenshin turns around)

Okina: Whatever it is with Aoshi, you handle it.
Sano: Something to say?
Police: Yes, Fujita officer instructed me here.
Sano: !
