Information wanted::
I live in the village of Silverton, which is situated about seven miles north of Exeter in Devon, England.
With a group of others in the village I am researching it's history with a view to compiling a book.
We have been told that during World War II a number of U. S. servicemen were stationed here.
We have no idea of the name or number of the group or even if they were Marines or whatever. However I am
looking for any information to help me contact any of these men or their relatives to relate their

Daggers wanted:

including modern (cased, prototype, presented or standard issue). All
accouterments, hangers, portepees and dagger belts (identified or not),

Johnson Light Machine Gun information available:
I have acquired a tremendous amount of information on Johnson semiauto rifles
and light machine guns pursuant to a book I just finished writing. The info
includes serial number information on the rifles from 0001 though 9999 and
nearly all of the M1941 l.m.g.s. I am able to delinate which l.m.g.s were
used (by serial no.) by the USMC and the FSSF. If I can be of service to
anyone with regard to information on Johnson weapons, please feel free to
