========================
--- begin ---

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a Wise Masterbuilder, I have Laid The Foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But Let Every Man Take Heed How He Buildeth Thereupon. ICor. 3:10

Greetings Brethren,
Above all things I pray,
"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe," [eph.1: 17:19]

It would seem that I'm still being misunderstood by some as to what I believe concerning the Message of William Branham. I had been preparing another little exhortation, but I felt it would be best to deal with this subject once again.

Let me approach this in a different manner this time, and show by the Scriptures why and in what way, I use the messages or sermons of William Branham. And I believe I use a Scriptural method, of which I'm trying to get others who also follow the Scriptures, to follow. I will be short about this as there is many wonderful books which go into detail and prove that William Branham was a Prophet sent from God. This letter is to show how we are to use what he said, by the Scriptures.

Lets begin by looking at the Office of a Prophet sent from God. What is the position and authority of a prophet.

Moses speaking to the children of Israel said this,
" The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of they brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, let me not hear again the Voice of the Lord God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my Words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him." [Deut. 18: 15-19]

We see that a Prophet is Ordained by God to speak to the people The Word of God. He is the spokesman for God Himself. He has the greatest authority in the congregation because of his position and placement of God. To not obey the Words of a Prophet, when he is speaking as a Prophet of God, that is, speaking in the Lord's Name, is to place oneself under the Judgment of God, not the prophet. For it is as if God was Speaking Himself, not the man.

Mark 13:34, For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave Authority to his Servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

II Cor.10:8, For though I should boast somewhat more of Our Authority, which the Lord hath given us for Edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed.

Now does everything that prophet might say half to be obeyed and considered coming from the Lord? No, Only that which is Spoken in the Name of the Lord, as saith the Scripture. Is everything that prophet does to be considered God doing it? No, only those things which the Lord commands the Prophet to do is considered being of the Lord. You must remember the prophet is born a man, will always stay a man, and die as a man. He will never ever become God in the flesh. He should never be looked at or considered as God, for he is only the servant of God, bringing the Word of God, to his Brethren. And William Branham is no exception. He was not Jesus Christ, or The Word in flesh as some proclaim. These seek to exalt him to a unscriptural position. He was a prophet sent from God, a minister of the Lord, nothing more, nothing less.

I Cor. 3:3-7, For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. v.21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours's;

I Cor. 4:6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is WRITTEN,

So if anyone exalts a man above what is written, it is a false doctrine and is not to be believed. I don't care how many quotes they want to give you out of some message bro. Branham preached, don't believe it, for it is against the Written Word.

Some of those that do believe that William Branham was somehow transformed and became the Word in Flesh on Sunset Mountain, have the same spirits on them as those that tried to worship the Apostle Paul in Acts 14: 8-18. Others see him as the Word made Flesh, even as John thought the angel that brought the Message to him was the Word in Flesh, and began to try to worship him, Twice. Rev. 19:10, 22:8,9

And some deceiving and therefore being deceived, are even teaching that the angel that showed John these things as spoken of in Rev 1:1; 22:6, and whom John ended up worshipping, was none other than William Branham!

There they are Brethren, there is their type, do you see it? And not knowing it, by not having revelation, they are even proclaiming that they are worshipping the angel, William Branham!

And Knowest Not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Rev 3: 17.

Col. 2:18, Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

So Stop it! Worship God and Him only.

Now the Prophet when he is sent to speak in the Name of the Lord, is at that time a god, but not the God. Why? Because they had the Word of God.

Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If He called them gods, unto whom the Word of God came, and the Scripture cannot be broken;" [John 10:34,35]

One only needs to look at the Scriptures to see that every prophet including Moses sinned and failed before God. Yet that Word they Spoke in the Name of the Lord, shall abide Forever!

We had many prophets sent of God up until Jesus Christ that spoke in the Name of the Lord. But these prophets did not understand the Mysteries of God, for this was to be revealed unto the prophets that came after Jesus Christ the Lord. And out of those prophets, Paul the Apostle was chosen to reveal this Mystery. He laid down the Foundation of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which was written and hidden, in the Old Testament Scriptures. For at that time there was not a New Testament Book of Scriptures.

Rom 16:25,26; Now to Him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the Mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made know to all nations for the obedience of faith: (Also Eph. 2:20-22; 3:2-12; I Cor. 14:37,38)

After a given period of time, the Lord gathered all the letters together that had been written by His prophets, under the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and combined them with the Old Testament, and called this, The Book. The Bible we now have is the completed gathering of Scriptures by His prophets, It is Finished. It is Done.

Let me now sum this up. The Foundation that a Christian is to build their Life on, is the Revelation of the Scriptures laid down by the Apostle Paul. And there is to be no more Scriptures added to the Bible by any Prophet after the First Church Age. The First Apostles and Prophets of Jesus Christ were the only ones Ordained by God to do this.

Now at the end of the ages, in the seventh church age, God was to send another prophet to bring the Christians back to the Original Revelation that Paul the Apostle had, at the beginning. Malachi 4:5,6; Matt. 17:10-13, Rev. 10:7, testifies to the ministry of William Branham, who was that prophet.

I believe that bro. Branham fulfilled all Scripture that was written of him. He did straighten out the problems the church had by 2000 years of false doctrine.

So tell me, how would I use, how would I hear, how would I read, what this Prophet of God said? Would I lay down The Book, the Scriptures, make them Secondary, to pick up his tapes and books? Or would I pick up The Book, the Scriptures, and let God use the ministry of this man to help me to understand the correct Original Revelation of the Word?

Brethren, is that so hard to understand? Is it so Simple that it causes some to stumble?

I didn't even get a quarter of the way finished with what I was wanting to say, but I've already written to much. Perhaps next time I'll go into more depth about this, and hit some other areas. If the people don't have this Foundation correct, how can they come unto the Truth?

May the Power of Revelation be yours,
Paul McAroy
