Paul, a bond-servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the Church of God
which is at Corinth:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. With charity all things are possible. Eternal Salvation will be delivered unto you within four days of receiving this epistle--provided you in turn send it on. Do not break the Chain!
This epistle has circumnavigated the world--from Gaul to Persia, yea even onto India and Abyssinia--seven times. It has brought bountiful spiritual gifts to all those who have followed its instructions, but ruin to those who have not. Pass it on and ye shall have life everlasting; fail and ye shall be one with the dust.
Blessed are they that maintain the Chain, that they may partake of the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. And he who breaketh the Chain shall remain without where there are dogs, and sorcerers, and whore-mongers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Send ye copies to whomsoever among the gentiles or superstitious peoples ye would comfort in all their tribulations. Do not send it to each-other, for the Lord Sayeth: "Ye shall not preach to the choir, nor convert him who believeth in me."
Gaius bestowed all his goods to feed the poor, and fasted forty days and forty nights. But it profited him naught for he forgot the epistle had to leave his hands within 96 hours and so broke the Chain. Now he liveth in a leprosary and hath no nose.
In A.D. 37, the epistle was received by a young Galatian woman who put it aside to copy and send out later. She was plagued by various agonies: thrice she was beaten with rods, once she was stoned, and twice she suffered shipwreck. Finally, she copied the letter. A trumpet sounded, and she was raised incorruptible.
The Lord be with you in spirit. Grace be with you. But the Chain faileth not. Amen.
