Daddy's Little Tiger

BY Teresa M. Kwasnik

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you.
Daddy's Little Tiger

You were born before your time
Taken from the comfort of your Mother's Womb
Separated from your Soulmate and Twin
Thrown into a world of machines and tests,
pain and suffering.
You gave it your all, but God called you home.
Daddy's Little Tiger

My arms ache to hold you,
To nurture and Love you.
A part of me died with you,
All my dreams,
my hopes for you.
Daddy's Little Tiger

I grieve for your life, for what you would have become.
I grieve for your Twin, not getting to know that
"twinness" you should have shared.
I grieve for the things you will never experience,
Your First Smile,
Your First Steps,
Your First Words,
Your First Day of School.
The grieving never stops, even though the days continue.
Daddy's Little Tiger

As the days go by, I know you are here.
Your soul lives in your Sister.
You are helping her, guiding her,
encouraging her to overcome the obstacles in her way.
She's doing well, because of your guiding hand from above.
Daddy's Little Tiger

As years go by, few talk about you.
A nice " I thought of Kaitlyn today" would warm my heart.
I am your Mother, and I will keep your Memory alive!

In Loving Memory of my Precious child, Kaitlyn Christine Kwasnik She was born at 25 weeks gestation along with her identical twin Sara Marie. We had her for only a short time but her memory will last a lifetime.
