Poem

"Asheville, Mountain City"

Asheville's industry is tourism.
It's definitely not bore-ism.
It has a lot of events,
But they cost a lot of dollars and cents.
Asheville's main attraction is skiing.
It probably is going to keep on being.
While you're skiing,
You can't go sightseeing!

Asheville is great,
It's home of the Biltmore Estate.
Thousands of visitors come each year.
Asheville makes you feel you're free.
It's certainly the place to be.

Railroads made Asheville grow.
At first they were really slow.

You can watch the French Broad River flow.
Asheville is great...
So great, it should be a state!

Story: "The Robber in the Biltmore Estate"

One warm Asheville summer evening, C__, B__, and I, Ch__, were going to the Biltmore Estate.

"C__, you drive," I said.

C__ had a '98 Ford Mustang convertible. On our way to the Biltmore Estate, we talked about baseball.

"C__, how many homeruns has Mark McGuire have?"B__ said.

"Thirteen, I think," said C__. "Wonder if we will break Roger Maris's record fo rthe most homeruns in a year?"

"I don't know," I said.

"We're here," C__ said.

"Whoa," B__ said. "This place is huge. It's 4 stories tall."

"Wow," I said. "Wonder how much it would have cost to build this place?"

We don't know," said the tour guide. "We are still taking estimates."

Then a man entered in: We interrupt this broadcast to tell you about a man. He is wanted in five states.

Description: SlimMedium height Last seen wearing a convict suit, with code number B-2500907.

As soon as we heard that announcement, we tackled a man. The tour guide called 911 and the police came and got the man. The police brought us a reward of $1,000,000.

They said, "Son, you just caught the guy that we wanted!"

Then we went to the bank to cash our check. It took half of the bank's money. After getting our money, we went to the arcade. I played Pinball and I got the top score in a New York minute! Then I watched C__ play. He played Tekken 3. He got 25 wins and finished in 10th place in the all time scoring list. B__ played the Simpson's Journey in Springfield. It took him awhile to beat it but he finally beat it!

Finally, we went to the hotel and packed our bags and left. That was our adventure in Asheville!
