Story:

"A Day at Durham"

One day N__, D__, J__, and K__ were going to Durham, the fifth largest city. We were riding in a white limo. Our limo driver was named Charlie. We were riding in a limo because we were doing a special report on Durham.

When we arrived in the fifth largest city, we hopped out of the limo and told the limo driver that was the best ride we ever had!

After that we went to Durham Shopping Center to get some souvenirs for our parents. We got red and blue coffee cups for moms and dads.

Then we got in the limo and we went to the mayor's office. We interviewed him. After we interviewed the mayor, we told him we enjoyed it.

Then we invited the mayor to watch the Durham Bulls play baseball. He said yes. So we all jumped in the limo and went to the game. The Bulls were playing the Cardinals. The Durham Bulls won 15 to 5. Before we left, we got the Durham Bulls to sign a baseball.

After that we told the limo driver we were getting hungry. He took us to a fancy restaurant called The Lighthouse. We all got flounder, shrimp, hush puppies, and a baked potato with butter. It was delicious! The mayor said he would pay for it. We said thank you very much!

After that the limo driver took the mayor to his house and we went to our houses too. When we got home to our houses, we went to sleep cause it was 10:00 p.m. But before that we gave the coffee cups to our parents.
