| Story: "The Day We Went to the State Fair"
One C__, A__, and
I went to the State Fair in Raleigh. We went with our parents. Then we
got of of A__'s mom's van. After that, we had to cross the road and get
tickets. Next we went through the gate into the fair.
The parents said, "Meet us back here at 4:00 P.M. sharp!"
Our parents went one way and we went another.
Then A__said, "Let's go to the bumper cars!" C__and I said, "OK!"
When we arrived C__ got in a pink car and A__ and I got into a black car.
When the
man turned them on, everyone shot to the middle except C__ because she was
in the middle already. Unfortunately, when C__ when C__ put the pedal to
the medal it would not go! When everyone hit her car, it dented it. When we all got off, we laughed like hyenas at C__.
Then we
went to the pottery exhibit. C__ broke a fancy pot. She had to pay $100.00!
C__ only had $50.00 so she had to find her mama. Then A__
and I went to the exhibit of computers. We played against each other on
a jet fighting game. I blew up A__ ten times! He blew me up eight! Meanwhile,
C__ and her mom went and paid the other $50.00. A__ and I went to the ferris
wheel. We went so high we saw C__ and her mama looking for us. Then we
got down and C__'s mama went away. C__ had to stay with us. Then we were
all a little hungry. We saw something in the distance. It was a candy stand
and we all ran to it like horses! We all bought cotten candy and it was
delicious! Then we looked at our watches. It was 3:55 P.M. We all
flew like rockets to the entering gate! When we got back, it was 3:59.
Then we saw the parents and got back into the van. Then A__'s mom said, "Did you have fun?"
We said, "YES!"
Then we went home.
