Atlatls
Atlatls
- Gordon Lothson pointed out that there are about 100 portrayals of atlatls (or spearthrowers) at the Jeffers site and only one possible bow and arrow. This and the portrayal of tanged projectile points suggested that some of the rock art was from the Old Copper Age during the Archaic period before the introduction of the bow and arrow into this area (Lothson 1976).
