Currently, we are focusing on Malay translations so if you: 

• are fluent in the language
• have easy access to the computer
• can spare a few hours each week

.......this is a golden opportunity for you to spread the true Islam.

Everything functions with e-mail around here so no meetings or anything of that sort. If you're in Singapore - like most in the group are - we might make phone calls here and there. 

This is HARD work and it can be very strenuous. Please ensure that you have the time to spare and the energy too. 

We cannot stress enough on the importance of being very careful and honest in your translations because the burden of sin will fall on your shoulder if your work misleads or misinforms. 

"Invite to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided." [al-Qur'aan, an-Nisaa'(16):125]  

At the end of the day, you will be making a BIG contribution to enhancing the imaan of your Muslims brothers and sisters. You will be a teacher....a middle-man to knowledge and inshallah, there are great benefits in this in the life hereafter. 

"Convey from me, even one verse." [al-Bukhaaree] 

"And who is better in speech than he who invites to Allah and does righteous deeds, and says: 'I am one of the Muslims.'" [al-Qur'aan, Fussilat(41):33]   

With regards to the reward, the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) has said: "Whoever guides [another] to a good deed will get a reward similar to the one who performs it." [Saheeh Muslim]
