A High School Library
Our Annual Purchases and
Types of Materials Purchased
A High School Library updates its collection
both annually and on a four year cycle. These materials are
purchased according to need and the wishes of parents and
faculty members. These purchases also include those made
in order to update each classes recommended reading lists.
Types of Materials Updated Annually
Our Fiction Collection is updated according to the needs
of the current class levels and according to changes in their
recommended reading lists. These reading lists are developed
by the Librarians in association with the English Department.
Types of Materials Updated According to a Four Year Cycle
Our Non-fiction Collection is updated according to the
needs of the A High School Community. Our current task
is updating our biography section to include people who
are of interest to our Student Body and also to update our

to update our space, science and mathematical collection.
Our plan is to continue updating this portion of the collection
