For Women Writers Members of PICS only
A Crime or Mystery Story. (maximum 3,000 words)
1st Prize $150. Prize kindly donated by Del Mutton.

Enter this competition and you may be awarded a Perpetual Trophy in memory of Margaret Probert, a founding member of Partners in Crime, as an encouragement for an up-and-coming writer, or a Perpetual Trophy in memory of Norm Clark for the most unusual plot. These trophies have kindly been donated by Del Mutton, another of our founding members.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Work must be original, unpublished work of the entrant, and must not have previously won a prize.
Entries must be typed in double spacing on one side of A4 paper.
Story title, pen name, section entered and word count to be on the first page of manuscript.
Author's name must not appear anywhere on or in the manuscript.
Entry form to act as cover page (photocopies of the entry form are allowed).
No restriction on number of entries, but each entry must have its own entry form and entry fee.
Entry fee $15 per entry (non-members), $10 per entry (members).
Please enclose a SSAE if you wish your manuscript to be returned.
The judges' decision will be final and no discussion will be entered into.
Prize winners will be notified by phone, fax or email. Results will also be published on PICS' website: http://www.oocities.org/Athens/Styx/7255.
Copyright to remain with the author.
Judges' decision will be announced, and prizes presented at Partners in Crime (Sydney) meeting December 6th, 2009, 4.00pm, at the Hughenden Boutique Hotel, 14 Queen Street, Woollahra.
