The
Greenfields - "Fil-Festa Ta' Santa Vendra" - Song Lyrics
The
Greenfields - In St'Venera's Feast
Thursday
24th July.
The march
was simply marvelous. The statue of Santa Venera V.M. was placed
on a pedestal, just in front of the new Parish Church Building Project.
Everything ended with a huge DISCO PARTY in St. Joseph High Street.
Music, starting from
"We are
The Champions", "Equador", "Let The Boy Cry" and "Bellissima".
YEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHH !!!
Come
join us tomorrow for lots of other fun. (tomorrow - FIREWORKS TOO
!!!)
Bring
your friends, your family, your neighbours...
p.s.
don't forget your dog !!!
Friday
25th July.
A
large quantity of people accompanied The Santa Venera’s Philharmonic Band
Club, while playing in the streets of Santa Venera. Then, there were
the fireworks, which were good and everyone enjoyed seeing them.
Saturday
26th July.
Not
a lot of people while The Santa Venera’s Philharmonic Band Club were marching
in the streets, but huge quantities gathered in front of the old Santa
Venera’s Church to see the fireworks. This year, the number of fireworks
was enormous, and the design and colours were simply wonderful.
Sunday
27th July.
The
great morning march - were the people in the streets are literally washed
up with water. When the march arrives in Msida Road, people throw
water at the people from their balconies or roofs. Maybe weird as
it sounds, but the people LOVE IT and they shout "Inridu l-ilma !"
which means "We want water !".
Personally
I find it very refreshing !
