Brian Hampton Brian Hampton was born and raised in Oklahoma (which is very much a Southern state, no matter what people may think) and lives now in Ada, where he manages a liquor store and writes in his spare time. He is a descendant of Confederate General Benjamin Hardin Helm, who was killed at the Battle of Chickamauga. He maintains the Longstreet Chronicles at http://www.chickasaw.com/~rainbow/ and is a passionate defender of the General.
