We just moved to Boise, Idaho. It's cold up here! I have become a prety good programmer since the last time we talked. Albertson's Food store hired me and moved up here to there corprate Head Quarters. The also made me ther new Web Master for there Intranet. Life is strange. I guess that just shows that you can do anything if you just try. Well I have to go for now. Tell Renee & Bad Bob I said Hi! Give me a yell if you get the chance. Later !

Comments: I found your website while doing a realestate search. I've lived in the cold north all my life, l8 years in Conn. and Mass and then came to college and staid in Illinois to work for the last twenty eight. But i fell in love with the south when I took my first college spring break on the gulf coast, especially new orleans and mobile. I like your site so much, especially the music on the home page that I bookmarked it and each day when I leave my office, I cue up your homepage so that in in the morning I just click you on and listen to that lively tune while I read my mail and start work. Just the right note. I'm actively looking for a retirement place in the south, particularly in Louisiana, Mississippi or Arkansas, somewhere in the boonies that needs a bit of work and has a bit of character. No new ranch houses in last years cotton field for me. So if you know of some old place that needs rescueing, let me know. Thanks again for brightening my day. Mark

We just moved here to Louisiana in January (husband is military), and had our second son at the end of January in Shreveport. I am trying to learn more about Louisiana, being that I will be living here for a while! It is very different from where I come, but I am having fun with all the new culture! I would love to have someone to talk to that lives here. I am a stay at home mom and have my 3 year old and 2 month old to talk to. It gets hard when I am new and don't really know what there is to do. Anyway, I loved your page and hope that I can figure out how to do mine (i'm not to puter literate), just as well!

Comments: Hi!I'm doing a couple of your recipes for a party and have a couple of questions: for the Jambalaya (red) if I can't find the diced tomatoes & chilies what can I substitute? ...an idea of how much chicken & cajun spice to use? For the corn soup: an idea of how much cajun spice to use? This is all new to me and I don't want to screw up!! Thanks and I love your web-site! Patti Hunt
