1. Why doesn't my logo work?
Well, there could be a number of reasons for this: The first being that the codes aren't correct. Please check to make sure all codes have the proper site ID on them and that there are no blanks or extra characters in each one. Another reason could be that the webring.org is down for the count -- which happens frequently since the webring.org is a huge organization taking care of thousands of webrings and all of their members.
2. I keep getting strange additions in my code when I update my page. What could be causing this?
One of the most frequent and more common problems we know about is that a slash (/) gets added into the code when updating pages using wysiwig editors. Using this software will require maintaining your ring logo each time you update that page. Check to make sure no strange characters have been added. Several ring members have had this problem with the slashes. So, if you are using wysiwig software, this could be why you get slashes each time you edit the page the logo is on. 3. I use Netscape as a browser, but occasionally I come across a site with broken images and no background. Why is that?
Unfortunately, sites such as these are made to be viewed ONLY with MSIE (Microsoft Internet Explorer). We have only encountered this problem a few times recently and at present only have two members who require the use of MSIE to view their sites. The majority of sites are best viewed with one or the other. However, they are generally viewed well with either.
