A visit to Ventura wouldn't be complete without seeing the Mission and Olivas Adobe. In 1847, the Olivas Rancho was used for raising oxen and dairy cows. Chumash Indians provided the labor to build the impressive home. Pictured also are the 100-year old fuchsias.
The old fountain provides a good lead-in to the 1782 Ventura Mission.
