Various Artist From the 1940s

During the 1940s - 1950s, dozens of great singers helped shape the image of country music. Many were well known and very successful in their field. Others were sort of obsecure and had little impact on the industry. A few of those artist only made guest appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, while others were regulars.

16 Country Hits From the 1940s, is a compilation of both the obsecure and popular country singers from this era. On the CD are such greats as, Pee Wee King, Cowboy Copas, T. Texas Tyler and George Morgan. In addition, Wayne Raney, Kenny Roberts and Pop Ekler, are a few of the lesser known artists who are included here.

16 Country Hits From the 1940s, is packaged by Highland Music out of Dearborn, MI. It may be tough to locate, but is worth the effort.
