CANDY LO (MUSE) (SONY MUSIC) (NOV00)

Candy Lo's (or Lu Qiao Ying) latest Cantonese album is out.  Its album title concept "Muse" is derived from the fable of the daughter of an ancient god Zeus, who reportedly made a great contribution to the preservation of arts like music and dance.

The first single "Dream For You" is a mid-tempo track composed by Eddie Ng (or Wu Guo Jing) and written by Zhou Yao Hui.  Her friend Nicholas Tse chipped in to compose a retro-style song "Thinking", with the lyrics written by Lin Xi.

The CD comes in the CD Extra format meaning it doubles up as a CD Rom which contains the music video of "Dream For You".

JULIAN CHEUNG (TEN FINGERS CLUTCHED) (MUSIC DOWNLOAD) (NOV00)

After the huge success of his Hong Kong TVB serial "October Moon" (or "Macau Street" as it's called in Singapore), Julian Cheung (or Zhang Zhi Lin) has come out with a brand new Cantonese album.

His fans will be happy to know that the album includes the theme-song "Wish Him Well" for "October Moon" (note : the track was earlier released in the TV soundtrack CD of "October Moon").

The title track cum first single "Ten Fingers Clutched" is a soothing ballad written by Lin Xi.  Other highlights include :

- he sang a live cover of Miriam Yeung's ballad hit "A Girl's Prayer";

- two additional remixes of "Wish Him Well" and "Ten Fingers Clutched" are found here; and

- the Singapore CD edition contains a bonus rock track "I'm The Last One To Leave" which is the main theme-song for the recent Singapore TV serial "Dare To Strike" starring Chi Lam, Li Nan Xing and Ann Kok.
