A problem with the 1200 gram Kaymont balloon calcs has been corrected. If you have the original LIFTWIN V0.1 you should discard that because the Kaymont 1200 gram results are off.

VBRUN300 runtime module only needs to be downloaded and installed once; thereafter just get the latest LIFTWIN zip version to update.

LIFTWIN presented here is a refined but preliminary public version of software which has been in use for several years at SkyQuest.

The results are very, very close to the Kaymont tables for burst altitude and ascent rate due to fine tuning of the algorithms and the capability to accept launch site temperature and altitude above sea level into the calculation of lift and drag.

Lifting power and volume match exactly the Kaymont data using the hydrogen gas option.

Supplementary files are included such as english units conversions of two of the Kaymont balloon characteristics tables.
