Comments: March began snowy and cold and ended rather dry. After
breaking this station's all-time season snow record on the 8th, no
snow was measured after the 9th... It was a very cold month. The
monthly mean of 34.9 degrees was 3.8 degrees below normal. It was
the 2nd coldest March on record (records since 1975), only 1984 was
colder with 32.9 degrees....Icy 7th with sleet and freezing rain.
