Comments: First 9 days of the month were very cool, the remainder of the
month quite warm resulting in an average mean temperature being exactly
normal.  The first 70 deg. reading of the season was recorded on the
10th, the second latest date for that event in 23 years of temp. records.
....Record daily temps. during the month: 43F record low on the 9th,
90F record high for the 26th.....Not much wind, only 5 days with gust
over 20 mph....Thunder observed on the 18th, 22nd, and 26th into the 27th.
