Comments: November can be summarized as being cold and dry.... Mean temp- erature of 40.1 deg. was 4.7 deg. below normal, departurewise the coldest month of the year. The seasons first freezing temperature was recorded on the 2nd. Then the temperature proceeded to dip to or below freezing 17 more times in the month. Daily low temperature records were recorded on the 15th (23 deg.), 17th (18 deg.), and 28th (18 deg.). 64 deg. on the 8th was a record high for that date. (Temp. records kept since 1974.).... After record breaking precip. in September and October, November's precip. was about 50% of normal. The nine day period from the 10th through the 18th was the longest rain-free period of the year....Barometer reading of 30.80" on the 15th was the highest pressure recorded this year.
