Comments: A very active weather year...January's "Blizzard of '96" dumped 17.5" of snow here. 1995-96 winter season snowfall of 80.7" was a station record. Year's high temperature occured rather early, May 20 with 89F....Severe thunderstorm strikes Brockton, Mass. on May 21, gusty winds but no precip. here....
